Nathan went to Sweden for the 2005/2006 school-year, his Junior year of high school.  He was a foreign-exchange student with AFS.  He posted pictures and narrative on this website:

Nathan lived in Östersund, Sweden, with his host-family, the Eriksson's.  He attended 'gymnasium' at Wargentinsskolan, and enrolled in Swedish, Spanish, Russian, and English classes, along with math, religion, 'sport', and 'outdoor activity'.
